Appeal by the developers - Inquiry 24th July 2007 for approximately 2 weeks.
APPEAL REFUSED - 21st November 2007 - Planning permission is refused.

Local Plan
Inclusion of sites within Hanwell Village in the Cherwell Local Development Framework (Local Plan)
Local Plan due to be published: December 2006 Council publishes its preferred sites. This may or may not include any of the Hanwell Village sites.
Final document submitted for independent examination by the Planning Inspectorate in July 2007.
Development Plan Document will be adopted by the Council in its final form in 2008 as part of Cherwell's new Local Development Framework.
NEWS We have since heard that the Local Plan is going very slowly and not expected to be published until the end of 2007. A new programme will be published prior to that stage and we will update this page as soon as we are informed of definate dates.
