Appeal by Persimmon Homes Ltd, Lord De La Warr and Mr & Mrs Donger against refusal of Planning for up to 400 houses north of Spine Road at Hanwell Fields

We have received the following information concerning the Inquiry into the above appeal from Duncan Chadwick, Head of Development Control and Major Developments at Cherwell District Council:

"I am writing to let you know that an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local government under paragraph 1 (1) of schedule 6 to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will attend at the Council Chamber, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, to hold an Inquiry into the above appeals.

The Inquiry will open at
10.00am on Tuesday 24 July 2007. The Inquiry is scheduled to last for 8 days: 24, 25, 26, 27 and 31 July; 1, 2, and 3 August 2007. On the second and subsequent days the Inquiry will start at 9.30am. Proceedings will adjourn at about 5.00pm each day.

I am to inform you that you may, if you wish, attend the Inquiry and at the Inspector's discretion state your case in person or through an accredited representative. If you do intend to speak at the Inquiry you should ensure that you are in attendance when the Inquiry opens on Tuesday 24 July 2007.

If you wish to be informed of the appeal decisions you must write to the Planning Inspectorate, Room 4/04, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6NP to request acopy of the decision letter.

Documents relevant to the appeal are available for inspection at Cherwell District Council offices, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury during normal office hours. Proofs of Evidence, Appendices and the Statement of Common Ground are expected to be available for inspection after Friday 29 June 2007. It is anticipated that the Proofs of Evidence will be available on the Council's website from Monday 2 July 2007."


The letter goes on to say that members of the public with disabilities should contact the council on 01295 221820 to ensure proper arrangements for access to the Inquiry.
