How to Respond

If the village wants its voice heard, we should send as many responses as possible to Cherwell District Council before the deadline of Monday 19 April.  There are in effect three main ways to respond and the details are set out below – starting with the simplest method.

1.  Using the CDC reply form

You are welcome to use your own words. You can always send in the form with a cover letter. We are producing a sample response, which covers all the issues relevant to Hanwell.

NB. A paper copy of the questionnaire and the sample response is now being delivered to every house on the weekend of 9/10/11 April.

2.  Writing a letter
To help you to send a letter with your comments we are producing a sample response, which covers all the issues relevant to Hanwell.  This uses the numbered questions set out in the CDC 4 page questionnaire.

3.  Complete the questions using the Online Consultation Facility
The Online Consultation Facility is available at: 
http://consult.cherwell.gov.uk/portal
You have to register with the Planning Portal to begin to use it. It can be a little difficult to use if you are not familiar with the consultation document.  You need to click on the Executive Summary to see the questionnaire. However, to help you, we are producing a sample response which covers all the issues relevant to Hanwell.
